US Vows To Shoot Down Any Missile Fired Over U.S Territory Of Guam

The United States of America has vowed to shoot down any missile fired by North Korea towards Guam Territory, after dictator, Kim Jong-un threatened testing a H-bomb across the U.S Territory of Guam following Donald Trump's speech at the just concluded UN General Assembly where he said he'll do anything to defend the United States and it's allies from North Korea even if it means totally destroying North Korea.

The remarks were not taken kindly by Kim Jong-un who made a rare broadcast appearance, where he branded the US President as a "dotard" and "frightened dog".

The US leader responded with a tweet calling Kim Jong-un "a madman" who "will be tested like never before!” and now the world power say if Kim delivers his threat of flying a hydrogen bomb over the pacific, it'll be shot down.

UN Assistant Secretary of State, Susan Thornton, said: "If a missile targeted Guam or flew over it, we would have shot it down," in a briefing for foreign journalists.

'It is now possible to determine exactly where the rocket will fly and in Japan there are now special alert systems for the civilian population.

She continued: ”The question of whether or not to apply military actions depends on specific situation.”

Dr Emily Landau, a senior research fellow at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), said she finally thinks North Korean supreme leader is realising there will be serious consequences if the United States or it's allies is threatened.

“I think Kim might fire towards Guam and then we’ll have to see what the response will be.' she said to

'Guam is a grey area for the US and i do not believe it is covered by the fire and fury threat, despite it being a US territory.
